Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Nutrivate:

• Account information — your email address and password (hashed), collected when you create an account
• Farm profile — first name, farm name, soil zone, and other agronomic profile details you choose to provide
• Field data — shapefiles, CSV files, yield data, and nitrogen application records you upload for analysis
• Analysis results — AI-generated nitrogen prescriptions and zone summaries associated with your account
• Usage data — standard logs including page visits and errors, used to maintain and improve the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Process your uploaded field data and generate nitrogen prescriptions
• Store your analysis history and make it accessible in your dashboard
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, and service updates
• Improve the accuracy and performance of the Service

We do not use your field data to train third-party AI models. Your agronomic data is processed using the Anthropic Claude API solely to generate your prescription — it is not retained by Anthropic for model training under their standard API terms.

3. We Never Sell Your Data

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances: as required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority; or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or the public.

4. Data Storage

Your account data, farm profile, and analysis results are stored securely on Supabase servers, which use PostgreSQL hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Field coordinates and map data used for visualization are stored temporarily in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted beyond what is needed to render your field map.

We use the following third-party infrastructure providers:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage
• Anthropic Claude API — AI prescription generation (data not retained for training)
• Mapbox / OpenTopoMap — field map rendering
• Vercel / Railway — application hosting

5. John Deere Integration

If you connect your John Deere Operations Center account, we store an OAuth access token to enable field data sync features. We never store your John Deere username or password. You can revoke access at any time from the Connect page in your account settings.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal information and field data within 30 days.

Some anonymised, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for service improvement purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your analysis history

Saskatchewan residents have additional rights under PIPA (Personal Information Protection Act). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
